I’m not really sure how I’m feeling right now. So many good things are coming into my life soon, and so many good things are coming to an end also. I introduced myself when we first started this blog, but I wanted to share again. My name is Maxine, and I have had the privilege of working for Hope First for an incredible year.
This summer, and this year, I am in a season of lots of changes and lots of firsts. I am sure in our transient military town many of you can relate. This Fall, my husband and I will be welcoming our first child into the world! My husband was recently promoted at his job, and we are being relocated to another state. Due to this relocation, I am leaving this job that I love so much to grow my family in the new place we are planted.
I feel like I want to laugh, cry, and soak in every precious moment. In life, as one chapter ends, another one is always beginning. Although I have to say goodbye to amazing friends and co-workers here, I get to say hello to new friends, a new home, and the beginning of the journey that is motherhood. I want to end my last blog post by saying how humbled and thankful I am to have been able to pour out my heart each week through this journey. My hope is that at least one person found encouragement from something that has been written here.
Now.. Here’s to new chapters, big changes, and staying grounded no matter what!
